TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The owner of the online store Reedest (hereinafter referred to as the Online Store) is Reedest OÜ (registry code 16896041), located at Rahukohtu tn 4/2, 10130, Kesklinna district, Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia.
Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product, and Price Information
These terms and conditions apply when purchasing goods from the Online Store.
The prices of the products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. A fee for the delivery of goods is added to the price. All prices for goods sold in the Online Store are in euros.
The delivery fee depends on the buyer’s location and the delivery method. The delivery fee is displayed to the buyer during the order checkout process.
Information about the goods is provided directly alongside the items in the Online Store.
Placing an Order
To order a product, the desired items must be added to the shopping cart. To complete the order, the required fields must be filled in and a suitable delivery method selected. The total cost will then be displayed on the screen, and it can be paid securely via the following methods:
Estonian bank payments
Latvian bank payments
Lithuanian bank payments
Visa/Mastercard card payments
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Note: When paying via bank link, be sure to click the “Return to merchant” button on the bank’s page.
Payments are processed by Maksekeskus AS. Payment takes place outside the Online Store in a secure environment—either in the secure environment of the respective bank or in Maksekeskus AS’s secure environment for card payments. The seller has no access to the buyer’s bank or credit card data. The contract becomes effective once the amount due has been credited to the Online Store’s bank account.
The Online Store owner is the data controller for personal data and transfers the necessary personal data to Maksekeskus AS, the authorized processor, for the purpose of processing payments.
If the ordered product cannot be delivered due to the product being out of stock or for any other reason, the buyer will be informed as soon as possible and the paid amount (including delivery costs) will be refunded without delay, but no later than within 14 days from the notice.
Delivery
Products are shipped to the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates.
The buyer has the following delivery options:
Omniva parcel locker
Omniva courier
The shipping costs are borne by the buyer and the relevant pricing is displayed next to the shipping method.
Domestic (Estonian) deliveries usually arrive at the specified destination within 1–4 working days after the sales agreement takes effect. Deliveries outside of Estonia can take up to 10 calendar days.
In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 45 calendar days.
Right of Withdrawal
After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in the Online Store within 14 days.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.
To exercise the 14-day right of return, the product must not be used in any way other than necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product—similar to testing the product in a physical store.
If the product has been used for purposes other than necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, or functioning, or if there are signs of use or wear, the Online Store has the right to reduce the refundable amount in accordance with the decrease in the product’s value.
To return a product, a withdrawal declaration must be submitted and sent to the email address info@reedest.com no later than 14 days after receiving the goods.
The return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, except when the return reason is due to the product not matching the order (e.g., wrong or defective product).
The buyer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal declaration or provide proof that the goods were handed over to the carrier within that period.
Upon receiving the returned goods, the Online Store will immediately, but no later than 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal declaration, refund all payments received from the buyer under the contract.
The Online Store may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or the buyer has provided proof of returning the goods—whichever occurs first.
If the buyer has expressly chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the Online Store, the Online Store is not obliged to refund the cost that exceeds the cost of the standard delivery.
The Online Store has the right to withdraw from the sales transaction and demand the return of the goods if the price of the goods in the Online Store was mistakenly significantly lower than the market price.
Right to File a Complaint
The Online Store is responsible for the non-conformity of goods sold to the terms of the contract or for defects that were present at the time of delivery and that become apparent within two years from delivery. Within the first year, such defects are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. The burden of proof to refute this presumption lies with the Online Store.
If a defect appears, the buyer must notify the Online Store within two months by sending an email to info@reedest.com.
The Online Store is not liable for defects that occur after the goods have been delivered to the buyer.
If a product purchased from the Online Store has defects for which the Online Store is responsible, the Online Store will repair or replace the product. If repair or replacement is not possible, the Online Store will refund all fees paid under the sales agreement.
The Online Store will respond to consumer complaints in writing or in a form that can be reproduced in writing within 15 days.
Direct Marketing and Personal Data Processing
The Online Store uses personal data entered by the buyer only for processing the order and delivering the goods. The Online Store forwards personal data to the logistics provider for the purpose of delivering the goods.
The Online Store sends newsletters and offers to the buyer’s email address only if the buyer has given their consent by entering their email address on the website and expressing a wish to receive direct marketing messages.
The buyer can opt out of receiving offers and newsletters at any time by notifying the Online Store by email or by following the instructions in the newsletter.
Dispute Resolution
If the buyer has complaints regarding the Online Store, they must be sent to info@reedest.com.
If the buyer and the Online Store cannot resolve the dispute through negotiation, the buyer may contact the Consumer Disputes Committee. The conditions for proceedings and the application form can be found here. The Consumer Disputes Committee is authorized to resolve disputes arising from contracts between the buyer and the Online Store. Review of the buyer’s complaint by the committee is free of charge.
The buyer may also use the European Union’s platform for resolving consumer disputes.
